Rachael White Designs has an exciting opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic Landscape Design Assistant at their office near Malmesbury.

Rachael White is an award-winning landscape designer with more than 20 years experience specialising in legacy projects primarily in the Cotswolds and the South West, but also nationally and internationally.

As a multi-disciplinary practice with our own project management and build teams, we see projects through from concept to creation, providing clients with a seamless experience from pre-planning and design through to construction.   We have delivered a diverse range of commercial and private client projects, including some high-profile and environmentally focussed initiatives.

To meet the growing needs of the business we are now looking to recruit an individual with the following skills and attributes -

  • A Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Masters qualification in landscape architecture ideally with a minimum 2 years post-graduate experience
  • Experienced in construction details and preparing documentation for planning applications with the confidence to undertake site surveys and write technical reports
  • Competent using Vectorworks, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp and proficient in Auto CAD
  • A creative and innovative design flair with strong presentation and communication skills including a proficiency in hand drawing
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • ​An understanding of the principles of SuDS
  • Ability to report write, assist with contract documentation and site supervision
  • LVIA in accordance with the latest best practice guidance, planning process and EIA
  • Technical knowledge, high-quality presentation and communication skills

Applicants must hold a full valid driving licence.
