Course overview:

In this course, we will explore the intersection of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and landscape design. You'll learn how AI can be utilized in the day-to-day operations of landscape architects, enhancing both the creative process and everyday tasks in the studio. What exactly is artificial intelligence? What tools are available to us? What challenges might AI pose to our field? How can we align with it? At DSTUDIO, we have spent the past two years conducting research to forge partnerships with AI, bringing those insights
directly to you.

Artificial intelligence is swiftly becoming a pivotal tool in landscape architecture, from automated design algorithms to client interaction enhancements. During this course, I'll guide you through practical examples of AI integration and discuss potential future applications that could transform our industry.
Each session will include hands-on activities to familiarize you with AI tools and techniques that can be implemented immediately in your practice.

Daniel Valera, an agronomist engineer and landscape designer. with over 14 years of experience in landscape design, leads the team of architects, engineers, and landscape architects at DSTUDIO. Daniel has been a prominent speaker, contributor to specialized publications, and an academic figure as a professor of Projects in various Postgraduate careers (Universidad Nebrija, eCampus, DMAD). His research projects, such as the application of artificial intelligence technologies in landscape design and the study of the 19th-century Spanish garden, add an academic dimension to his practical approach as the creative director at DSTUDIO. With a portfolio that spans both national and international projects, his versatility allows him to oversee all aspects of garden design, personally directing each project undertaken by DSTUDIO.
