Jilayne Rickards MSGD

Chelsea Gold Medal and multi Award winning garden designer providing bespoke garden design services in Cornwall and the South West. Working closely with clients for new builds, renovations and second homes to provide unique and beautiful gardens that increase biodiversity and support wildlife. Seaside gardens, urban gardens, woodland gardens, wildlife friendly gardens and family gardens are all part of my remit and working as part of a team with architects, engineers or interior designers is something I feel right at home with too.

Wildlife scheme to encourage a large range of biodiversity. Within a few months there were increased pollinators and the pond now has rare newts!
Naturalistic planting schemes to suit individual locations.
A small urban retreat that picked up 4 National BALI Awards. Environmentally sound by keeping as much on site as possible and sourcing used and reclaimed items throughout. Relaxed planting of blue, pink and white pallet.

Truro wildlife garden for clients who had just retired and bought a new build. Multiple levels make it an interesting site and using semi mature trees and naturalistic planting, the garden seems like its been there ages.

A hidden and secret gem that feels like a countryside location but is actually in London NW7! Lots of privacy was included to make it feel enclosed, with relaxed and seasonal planting style.
