We have two important changes to the way the Society works to announce.

Firstly, with Council’s agreement, Andrew Duff MSGD and Lynne Marcus MSGD are Co-chairing the Society, effective from 1st September 2022 – effectively job sharing the role. We are pushing 2000 Members and along with Council, have a packed agenda to manage. Lynne and Andrew have worked closely for the last two years and the Council believe this the best way forward, for the present, to expedite the SGD Strategy.

The Co-Chairs will split areas of responsibility, with Andrew focussing on ‘Internal Communications’ and Lynne on ‘External Communications’, although there will inevitably be lots of crossover. John Wyer FSGD, will expand his role by taking on Vice Chair responsibilities along with his role as Treasurer.
