All intellectual property rights including (without limitation) copyright in the text, graphics, documents and information contained in this site belong to the Society of Garden Designers, unless otherwise stated. If you are a member of the Society of Garden Designers, you are permitted to download and print a copy of documents contained on this site provided that it is for your personal use, that any copyright notices in the documents are not deleted and that the permission to use the documents may be revoked at any time. If you cease to be a member of the Society of Garden Designers, you must immediately cease using the documents.

The Society of Garden Designers may change these terms at any time by posting changes online.

Articles from Garden Design Journal

The Society of Garden Designers owns the copyright of the articles in the Garden Design Journal
The Society of Garden Designers gives permission to contributors of text and images to reproduce these on their websites in pdf format subject to points 3, 4 and 5 below
If an article is to be reused on a website and it includes illustrations, then permission needs to be obtained from relevant photographers or picture libraries etc owning the rights to the images; this is the responsibility of the contributing author/member who wishes to reuse an article on their website, and not the Garden Design Journal or the Society of Garden Designers
If the article is a feature about products using publicity images from the manufacturers, members can use that page on their website so long as it is a faithful reproduction of the page itself (ie, not extracting the text and using it in any other way)
Any article/image reused from the journal should make it clear that it is reproduced from the Garden Design Journal
