Heather Dale MSGD

For Heather garden design is about understanding your aspirations and needs for your garden and from that creating a beautiful place for you to enjoy. Heather believes that gardens are essentially natural, living places and therefore plants often have a central and substantial role.

Heather has over ten years experience running her design studio, Heather Dale Garden Design, and has been involved in some fantastic projects from tiny front gardens to large country estates, solving complicated problems and creating beautiful, natural spaces.

City garden with mini-woodland. Adding form to this garden to give structure whilst also retaining space for the children to play and a mini woodland with wildflower meadow was the challenge for this small city garden.
Colourful arrival
Sloping Garden. The path sweeps through the garden increasing its apparent width and allowing creation of a level area with a seat in a secluded sunny spot.
Wildlife garden. This design was about increasing the biodiversity and interest in this new build garden, originally a blank canvas of grass it now has a variety of plants and habitats including a pond.
Courtyard garden. Changing the paving layout to slow down movement through the space and create space for plants has transformed this once unloved courtyard.
Country House Garden. The entrance to this house was improved by the introduction of new borders and colourful planting.
